The Korean Foundation Scholarship for is offering Scholarships to eligible and outstanding students to study in Japan.
Scholarship for this academic session 2022-2023 is currently ongoing. Scholarship is for both South Korean and North Korean students that are self-financed and in need of assistance and also hold excellent academic records are eligible to participate in the Programme.
Students have access to over 35,000 JPY or 65,000 JPY for Master’s and PhD applicants.

Eligibility Status
The Korean Foundation Scholarship is eligible only for students from South Korea and North Korea.
- Courses and Subjects: They offer Scholarships for masters and PhD Programme.
- Applicants must be younger than 40 to apply for this Scholarship
- Language Requirements: Students are required to have Japanese language skills
The Scholarship is worth between 40,000 JPY – 70,000 JPY by the University of Tokyo.
